At Famous Roses we value good stories as much as the rose bushes we offer. We can say about “Eddy Mitchell” that he is the most rock and roll of all the rose bushes from the Meilland Richardier house. It seems that the singer Eddy Mitchell wanted a black rose in memory of his time with the Chaussettes Noires, but the Meilland house went further and also added a golden hue, thus creating an absolutely new color: petals of a velvety red tone, almost black, and golden yellow on the other side.
“Eddy Mitchell” is a robust, pest-resistant rose bush, with dark green foliage and continuous flowering. Its flowers have a diameter of 10 cm and approximately 27 petals, and in its mature stage it reaches a height of 60-80 cm.
Recommended for obtaining cut flowers for vase or floral arrangements. The cut flower lasts approximately 7-10 days.
