The rose “Schwarze Madonna” is, just as W. Kordes & Sons intended when they created her in 1992, a character, a diva, a theater actress who acts as a

it for a restricted audience. You will enjoy seeing it elegantly show off its dark velvet red , and you will eagerly await its repeated blooms throughout the season.

If you take your time to discover its sublime traits, you will realize that this is a unique variety; With it, your garden will acquire an air of mystery when its lightly scented flowers, with between 26 and 40 petals, offer their spectacle to all who come to admire it. If you are a fan of rose bushes in love with film noir or detective novels, the “Schwarze Madonna” will, without a doubt, be the favorite character in your fairy tale garden.

We, at Famous Roses, have dedicated a special place to this rose bush that reaches, in its maturity stage, a height of between 80 and 100 cm, and when it blooms it has something that no other has.

Recommended for obtaining cut flowers for vase or floral arrangements. The cut flower lasts approximately 5 days.
